Category 2: This category includes, but is not limited to, three people, audio with background noise that affects audio quality, audio that is difficult to understand (e.g., poor recording, soft voices, echo, static, etc.). Verbatim transcripts also fall into this category, as well as memoranda of law, court hearings and depositions, and transcription that involves general document formatting.

Category 3: This category includes, but is not limited to, four or more speakers, speakers with very thick accents, transcription dealing with highly scientific terminology, as well as panel discussions, focus groups, conference calls, or seminars with multiple participants, complex document formatting (e.g., formatting a memorandum of law to automatically generate a table of authorities).

(Note: For timestamps, unless otherwise noted above, add $.25 per audio minute for each category.)

Payment Types And Terms

Currently, we accept only PayPal for payment of services. PayPal is one of the largest credit card processing companies in the world and uses safe 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Thus, you can take comfort that all your personal contact details and financial information (e.g., your credit card information) will be protected during the payment process.

Please note that PayPal may ask you to enroll for an Expanded Use Number (EUN). Processing of the EUN may take up to 3 to 4 business days.

After completing your transcription, we will email you an electronic invoice detailing the services we have performed, the amount due, and instructions on how to make payment via PayPal.

Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you your transcript (in Microsoft Word format).

Note:  Once we are familiar with each other, we will be able to establish an invoice system with you where I won’t have to wait for your payment in order to return your transcript to you. However, we must first establish a relationship before we would be willing to do that.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
